Bespoke under-stairs wardrobe

Under these stairs, there was a temporary piece of furniture that did not truly utilize the available volume. Much of the space remained inaccessible, organization was limited, and the unit did not integrate with the home’s architecture.

The goal was to design a completely bespoke wardrobe that would take advantage of every inch under the stairs while maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic. In addition to significantly increasing storage capacity, the new furniture had to integrate visually with the staircase and the rest of the room, giving the impression of having always been part of the home.

In many homes, the space under the stairs ends up becoming a wasted area. The objective of this project was to transform it into a fully functional wardrobe, utilizing every available centimeter without altering the home’s aesthetic.

The challenge consisted of adapting the furniture to the slope of the stairs and ensuring the unit looked like part of the original architecture. To achieve this, we designed bespoke doors with clean lines and an interior layout intended to offer maximum storage capacity.

The result is a discreet, practical, and perfectly integrated wardrobe, manufactured with high-quality materials and a minimalist finish that fits the contemporary style of the home.

Once the design was approved, the manufacturing phase began in our workshop, where each element was built completely to measure to adapt precisely to the geometry of the staircase.

Each board was machined and assembled with special attention to the joints, dimensions, and the fit of the doors, seeking perfect integration with the home and smooth, durable operation.

The result is a wardrobe that not only makes the most of a typically wasted space but also integrates visually with the house’s architecture, offering a practical, elegant solution designed to accompany the client for many years.

Following the design, manufacturing, and installation process, the space under the stairs went from being a wasted area to a wardrobe fully integrated with the home’s architecture. Each module was custom-made to adapt to the slope of the stairs and utilize every last available centimeter.

The matte white finish, handleless doors with push-to-open mechanisms, and personalized interior layout create an elegant, discreet, and highly functional storage solution. The result is a piece of furniture that feels like it has been part of the home since day one.
